PROCESS

Stage 1 - Brainstorm: The artist meets with the client for a brainstorm session. This stage is very essential to the whole design process. Also, the artist will assess the project and email the client with the price.

Stage 2 - Sketches: A session is scheduled for the client to meet with the artist, who will present the client with 3 to 4 sketches to choose from. The client is entitled to an unlimited number of changes/revisions (within reason). At this stage, a 50% downpayment is required from the client.

Stage 3 - Color: Another session is scheduled to present the client with 3 to 4 colored versions of the character. The client is entitled to an unlimited number of changes/revisions (within reason).

Stage 4 - Delivery: The character is finalized and the Cartoon Box is prepared for delivery. At this stage, the client will pay the rest of the amount in order to receive the Cartoon Box.

WHAT IS A CARTOON BOX?

A CARTOON BOX is the final package that the client receives. It will contain the following:

> full color version of your custom character

> grayscale version of your custom character

> black and white version of your custom character

All of the above versions will be given to you in both bitmap and vector formats.

 

RATES

The prices of custom cartoon illustrations will vary according to the following factors:

> size of company

> size of exposure

> complexity of illustration

 

COPYRIGHTS & ROYALTIES

The artist retains full copyright ownership of all created work. Royalties granted differ from project to another. The artist will sell only first reproduction rights, unless otherwise negotiated and stated in the contract. A contract between the client and the artist will clearly define the way the client may use the cartoon illustration. The client shall adhere to all clauses written in the signed contract.
